PMA Board of Directors 2014 Election Process

** Dates have changed and extended by one week from the original announcement. 

The self-nomination period for the PMA 2014 Board of Directors will open October 14, 2013. The voting period will open November 7, 2013.  All Corporate (formerly Gold) and Industry Champion (formerly Platinum) members in good standing are eligible to run and vote in the new board.  Three (3) board seats are open and available to fill:

  • 1 Industry Champion level seat
  • 2 Corporate level seats

The PMA holds the integrity of your vote in the highest regard. Per the board resolution passed in 2010, the final vote will be certified by both Board President Brian Littleton, outgoing Board Secretary, Karen Garcia and executive director, Rebecca Madigan.  Please feel welcome to reach out to them directly should you have any questions.

Board Makeup

The PMA board is made up of 11 people:

  • 5 Industry Champion (formerly Platinum) level members
  • 4 Corporate (formerly Gold) level members
  • 2 at-large members, selected by the elected 9 board members

For this election for the 2014 board, three board seats will be available to fill:

  • 1 Industry Champion level seat
  • 2 Corporate level seats

These new board members will join the following seated board members:

  • List of Nominees and their campaign statements (made available once nomination submissions have been received)
November 7 – November 14, 2013 (11:59pm PST)
  • Member voting period
  • In order to vote, members must be paid in full by noon PST November 14, 2013
November 15, 2013 – November 18, 2013
  • Board President, Board Secretary and Executive Director will verify election results
  • Exception: if there is a tie, a run-off will be held and dates adjusted accordingly.
