Joey Asleson, Asleson Communications

Previous PMA Experience

I am deeply committed to the PMA mission and the advancement of our channel. When I launched my consultancy, my first step was re-engaging with the PMA to push education and thought leadership forward. I serve on the Industry Advancement Council, contribute to shared language and media-standards work, webinars and community sessions, and volunteer at PMA event booths. I show up as a leader while building my business within this ecosystem to champion its growth and future.

Your Campaign Summary

I am running for the PMA Board to help lead our industry into its next era – where partnership marketing is not only a revenue engine, but a creative, strategic, and technology-driven discipline shaping the future of commerce. I built my career in this space and launched a consultancy rooted fully in affiliate and partnerships because I believe in this channel and its potential. My focus is on accelerating innovation, embracing emerging partnership models, and expanding education so future leaders have access, support, and clear pathways into the industry. I want to ensure the PMA remains the authoritative voice on ethical, transparent, and performance-driven growth while championing AI adoption that enhances creativity and operational excellence – not replaces critical industry expertise. I bring curiosity, bold thinking, and real-world experience, and I am ready to help the PMA inspire, modernize, and lead the evolution of partnership marketing.

Denys Babaiev, Scale Your Web LLC

Previous PMA Experience

Although I officially joined less than a year ago, I immediately became active in the Measurement & Insights Council, driven by my passion for data and tracking. Since then, I have consistently attended monthly council meetings and webinars.
I also started preparing a short weekly AI roundup in our Slack to support knowledge-sharing about recent AI news.
I also participated in PMA brunches at both ASE and ASW, where I had the chance to connect with many new members of the association.

Your Campaign Summary

My journey in affiliate marketing began in 2018, spanning roles from Affiliate Manager managing multimillion-dollar monthly budgets, to publisher, and now to building MarTech solutions and AI agents for leadgen and business optimization.

Affiliate marketing, to me, has always been about people and connections. A few years ago, I moved to the U.S. after fleeing the war in Ukraine, leaving behind my entire network and starting again from scratch. Lucky me, at ASE, I met Tricia and learned about PMA and without hesitation, I knew I wanted to join an association that unites the best people in our industry

Being deeply involved in AI, I believe PMA should be at the forefront of AI research and its impact on performance marketing. I would be glad to help launch a Council dedicated to AI and its impact in our industry to strengthen advocacy, knowledge, and services for members through emerging AI technologies.

There is so much rapid change going on in our industry at present, making it a very exciting yet critical time. I feel strongly that the PMA is in a great position to be leveraged, not only as a source of knowledge sharing & education, but also as a central hub for relationship building.
