Mike Allen is a charter member of the Performance Marketing Association, has served on two PMA councils and is currently on the Board of Directors. He has been involved in affiliate marketing since 1999 as the founder and “Chief Executive Shopper” at Shopping-Bargains® where he was a finalist for the LinkShare Golden Link Merchant’s Choice Award in 2005 and the LinkShare Golden Link Advertiser’s Choice Award in 2008. Mike was Affiliate Summit’s 2009 “Affiliate of the Year” at the Pinnacle Awards. Now through Businesswright, which Mike founded in 2013, he provides a variety of Internet marketing solutions for online and local businesses. These efforts include ecommerce and affiliate program management, WordPress support, and local Internet marketing services. Mike is a regular presenter at Affiliate Summit. He has also presented at Blogworld (NMX), Affiliate Management Days, CJU and several other performance marketing conferences.'

Tricia Meyer is the owner of Sunshine Rewards, Helping Moms Connect and other niche sites. She speaks and writes about topics such as monetizing blogs, managing affiliate relationships, and current events in the industry. A graduate of Indiana University School of Law, she combines her legal background and marketing experience to educate and open conversations about legal and ethical issues. As a consultant, she helps companies monetize through affiliate marketing.

Rachel serves as the PMA’s Membership Coordinator and project manages many of our processes, including our PMA Councils. Her background is in creating more efficient workflow processes and she works with businesses, both for-profits and non-profits to identify and remove the barriers to effective operations systems.

Christen Evans is an affiliate manager for Apogee, an award-winning agency that focuses on recruitment, education and activation. She received the Affiliate Marketing Advocate Pinnacle Award from Affiliate Summit in 2017. She is responsible for the suite of merchants at Apogee in the Food/Drink and Gourmet niches. In recent years, she has attended and spoken at industry conferences such as Everything Food and International Food Bloggers, as well as Plaid St and ShareASale/Awin ThinkTank. The education and activation of these new partners she engages with and recruits from these shows has greatly increased the overall sales for her clients and others at Apogee. Christen strongly believes in more education for everyone in the industry, including affiliates, networks, managers and vendors.
Tara McCommons is VP of Sales and Marketing at LinkConnector—a Performance Marketing Network providing innovative technology and support for over a decade. Since beginning her career in affiliate marketing (in 2004), Tara has established a successful record in fueling revenue growth through the development and leadership of strategic partnerships. She leads a high performance sales team that plays a pivotal role in identifying new merchant and affiliate opportunities that will continually expand the LinkConnector network. Tara has been actively involved with the PMA’s Publisher Recruitment Council since 2012.
Joe has been in the affiliate industry for 18+ years on both the affiliate side and the affiliate management/merchant side. He is currently working at Fanatics.com, managing the affiliate programs for Fanatics.com, FansEdge.com, NFLShop.com, MLBShop.com, NBAStore.com, Shop.NHL.com, and a number of other properties. He has won the Affiliate Summit Affiliate Manager of the Year Pinnacle Award and two Merchant of the Year Pinnacle awards in the last 3 years.
With 15 years’ new business experience in the affiliate channel – 10 of which spent with the Awin US Group (Awin and ShareASale) – Nick Cartwright successfully drives client acquisition efforts for the company on a regional and global scale, providing a consultative and strategic approach for prospective e-commerce partners to ensure they benefit from the full Awin US Group proposition. Nick’s comprehensive knowledge of the affiliate industry and expertise managing profitable relationships for leading global brands across all verticals is evident, with some of his larger procurements to the client portfolio including StubHub, Etsy, Hyatt and Quora.
His passion for and dedication to the affiliate channel is evident in his goals for the Performance Marketing Association, championing the performance marketing industry and how successfully the channel can drive exceptional ROI for any e-commerce business. Specifically, Nick will focus on developing a standard code of conduct and best practice guidelines to be put in to effect for affiliate networks, with special consideration on increased transparency and visibility into a network’s publisher activity. Furthermore, he will work to ensure the channel is well positioned to overcome future data policy changes, leveraging the framework Awin Global has put in to practice regarding Europe’s Global Data Protection Regulation and ePrivacy Regulation, and Apple’s Safari update Intelligent Tracking Prevention 2.0.
Jim Nichols is CMO for Partnerize, a leading global partner automation platform serving the world’s largest and most innovative brands. Jim has 20+ years experience in over 80 different categories, including developing successful positioning and go-to-market plans for many martech companies. Prior to Partnerize, Jim was VP of Marketing for Apsalar, a leading mobile app attribution provider that merged with ROI analytics leader Singular in 2017. He also spent several years as VP of Marketing for Conversant, where he led various efforts in the successful rebrand of the company from ValueClick, Inc. The rebrand and associated industry attention for the company contributed to the $2.3B sale of Conversant to Alliance Data in December 2014. He holds a B.A. in U.S. History from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Chicago.
For the past 2 1/2 years Alan has been the Datafeed Client and Network Relationship Manager at FMTC (FMTC aggregates, tests and cleans offers for publishers), but he has been in the industry for 15 years. Working at FMTC puts Alan in a unique position of being a neutral party in the industry as they are not a network, publisher, merchant or an OPM, but they work with all of those (and several other technologies and tools in the industry). Before FMTC Alan worked as a publisher at the deals and coupons site DealTaker.com, which he started with his brother in 2004. He is also an active member in the affiliate marketing community having attended over 60 conferences, meet-ups, networking events, etc over the years.
As SVP of Affiliate Marketing at Pepperjam Network, Maura Smith oversees the client and publisher relationships that drive the success of Pepperjam’s omni-channel performance marketing solutions. With over 10 years of performance marketing insight, Smith has led advertiser, agency and publisher teams, responsible for the growth and optimization of over 1,200 performance marketing programs across 200,000 publisher partnerships. Smith received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and holds an MBA from the University of Scranton.
Sarah Johnson Dayes is Acceleration Partners’ Chief Client Officer. Sarah has served on AP’s leadership team for over six years and is responsible for the success of our 85+ member Client Services team and the happiness of our clients. She owns our global client relationships and has been instrumental in shepherding the success of key client engagements including Uber, adidas, and Airbnb.
Sarah’s commitment to ongoing growth has been the driving force behind AP’s culture of encouraging innovation and creative problem-solving with all client teams and ensuring that we never stop outperforming for our clients. Prior to working with Acceleration Partners’ affiliate marketing clients, Sarah oversaw a digital strategy business unit focused on SEO, SEM, and paid social. She also has many years of early e-commerce experience, having founded a successful and innovative e-commerce retail business in 2004. Sarah holds a BA from Duke University and lives in New York City with her husband and two young children.

When unplugged, Rick enjoys spending time with his family in their Minneapolis home. He and his wife enjoy entertaining, cooking, and spending time on (and in) the water with their two sons. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Marketing from the University of Minnesota, where he was a member of the University of Minnesota men’s swim team.
Jamie is the owner and principal of JEBCommerce. His extensive Internet marketing experience includes all facets of online marketing: email, paid search campaigns, customer retention programs, and much more. This wide range of disciplines has enabled Jamie to excel as a business leader and JEBCommerce to realize a great level of success for its clients.
Jamie cut his “affiliate marketing teeth” managing affiliate programs for many well-known companies before spending several years at Coldwater Creek, a Top 5 nationwide women’s clothing retailer. While at Coldwater Creek, Jamie established and managed affiliate campaigns, email campaigns, and SEO campaigns – an opportunity that allowed him to develop many of the proven processes JEBCommerce successfully employs today.
In recognition of his professional leadership, the affiliate marketing industry has consistently nominated him for Annual Pinnacle Awards over the years. In addition to individual accolades, JEBCommerce is gaining momentum within the Internet marketing industry and is experiencing positive, exciting growth.
