PMA 2017 Board of Directors Election Process

The self-nomination period for the PMA 2017 Board of Directors will open October 3, 2016.  Nominations will close on October 31 at midnight.

The voting period will open November 2, 2016. All Corporate, Retailer, and Industry Champion members in good standing are eligible to run and vote in the new board. Five (5) board seats are open and available to fill:

  • 3 Industry Champion level seats
  • 2 Corporate level seats

The PMA holds the integrity of your vote in the highest regard. Per the board resolution passed in 2010, the final vote will be certified by both Board President Rachel Honoway, and Board Secretary, Alexis Caldwell.  Please feel welcome to reach out to them directly should you have any questions.

Board Makeup

The PMA board is made up of 11-13 people:

  • At minimum, 5 Industry Champion level members
  • At minimum, 4 Corporate/Retailer level members

For this election for the 2017 board, five (5) board seats will be available to fill:

  • 3 Industry Champion level seats
  • 2 Corporate/Retailer level seats

These new board members will join the following seated board members who will serve their second year of the 2-year term:

  • Tony Pantano (Board Treasurer), CEO, Imwave, Inc.
  • Alexis Caldwell (Board Secretary), Director of Affiliate Marketing, rewardStyle
  • Todd Crawford, Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Impact Radius
  • Maura Smith, SVP of Affiliate Marketing, Pepperjam Network
  • Sarah Bundy, Founder & CEO, All Inclusive Marketing
  • Maryellen Grasky, Affiliate Manager, Jane.com

Dates

October 3 – October 31, 2016 (11:59pm PST)
November 3, 2016
  • Nominees announced, and voting opens.
  • List of Nominees and their campaign statements (made available once nomination submissions have been received)
November 3 – November 30, 2016 (11:59pm PST)
  • Member voting period
  • In order to vote, members must be paid in full by noon PST November 30, 2016
December 7, 2016
  • Following the certification of results, the PMA Governance Committee will announce the new 2017 PMA Board of Directors
  • Exception: if there is a tie, a run-off will be held and dates adjusted accordingly.

October 3-31st , any Industry Champion or Corporate Member may nominate themselves for a seat on the 2017 Board of Directors.
