Bio: Rachel is the CEO at For Me To Coupon, a provider of datafeeds for the affiliate marketing space. She is an affiliate marketing veteran who got her start at former affiliate network/software provider KowaBunga! back in the late 90’s. She spent over 10 years there in a variety of roles from Sales and Marketing Director to VP and followed that up with just over 5 years with Affiliate Classroom/Lurn as VP of Marketing and later Chief Product Officer.
The Datafeed Standard Council intends to create a consistent foundation from which online advertisers can build datafeeds to distribute product and advertising information through their performance-based advertising channels.
The council will focus on:
Creating Consistency – Retailers will have a set of standards from which to build their datafeeds so that publishers can access data in a consistent format across the board.
Maintaining Quality – Policies for quality assurance will help minimize errors and omissions in data delivery.
Fostering Scalability – We will seek opportunities for automation and application beyond the current uses of datafeeds for businesses of all sizes and growth potential.
Establishing Value – Online marketers will understand the efficiency and efficacy in delivering or accessing advertising information through datafeeds.
