Utah Affiliate Nexus Tax Bill Died
FollowUtah’s affiliate nexus tax bill died on the House floor late last night, just hours before the state’s legislative session adjourned for the year. Earlier in the week, the PMA and its attorneys, Brann & Isaacson, sent a letter to Governor Herbert, outlining all the legal reasons why the bill is unconstitutional. It worked!
Each state is different, and Utah presented a unique situation where our advisors suggested a legal argument would be effective to defeat the bill. We are sharing that letter with legislators in other states, and hope it will have the same effect.
