PMA Announces Performance Marketing Industry Study
The Performance Marketing Association is pleased to announce that it will begin work with London Research this week to conduct its third and latest Performance Marketing Industry Survey. The previous two studies reported on calendar years 2018 and 2021. The new study will focus on 2024 data as well as 2025 trends.
In addition to estimating the size of the overall performance marketing industry in the United States, the study breaks down:
- Total Spending by Advertising Sector (Industry)
- Total Spending by Retail Sector (Category)
- Total Revenue Contribution by Advertising Sector
- Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) by Advertising Sector
- Return on Ad Spending (ROAS) by Retail Sector
- Channel Investment by Affiliate Type
- Key Industry Trends
- Publisher Sentiments
The study has historically been relied upon as the most accurate sizing of the industry in the U.S. due to the significant data contributions of the networks and platforms. Data contributors this year include:
- Awin
- CJ
- Everflow
- LinkConnector
- Partnerize
- Ascend by Partnerize
- Rakuten Advertising
- ShareASale
In addition, publishers will be asked to contribute sizing data as well as sentiment responses.
It’s not too late to get involved. Reach out to Tricia for more information.
Stay tuned to the PMA over the next several months as we undertake this important project.
