The latest PMA Industry Survey found that 37% of “Technology Partner” affililate spend was classified as Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL). That represented less than 1% of total affiliate spend in 2021. However, since that survey, BNPL publishers have grown rapidly, sometimes appearing in the top 10-20 publishers for merchants.
