AI and Affiliate Marketing (Survey and Free Webinar)

Earlier this year, the PMA Compliance Council conducted a survey about how affiliate marketers were using Artificial Intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and Bard. They followed it up with a webinar that focused on using AI for content generation, programming, image creation, and ethics.

Fast forward a few months and we are hearing about more people using it AND more people being against using it. In light of the changes of the last several months, we are asking the same questions below that we did back then but with a little different spin. We’d love to know your thoughts on AI tool use in affiliate marketing plus invite you to attend a webinar to talk more about best practices, standards, and the legal issues involved.

The survey below is anonymous, but the more we can learn about how affiliate marketers are using AI, the better we can be prepared for the webinar. Plan on attending and hearing the results plus a lot more about what is new and changing!

How are you currently using an AI tool (e.g. ChatGPT, Jarvis, etc) for affiliate marketing?
Who owns the intellectual property for AI generated content?
For content used to TRAIN the AI tools, how should the original creators be compensated? (if at all)
Should brands create rules around whether AI generated content is allowable for publishers who monetize their brand?
Should networks create broader rules around whether AI generated content is allowable within network?
How will AI generated content change performance marketing ecosystem?
