PMA Council Spotlight: Publisher Recruitment
We are launching a new series to help everyone get to know our councils! The councils are our PMA member groups that meet monthly to talk about industry issues and create resources such as whiitepapers, blog posts, and webinars.
Today we are spotlighting the Publisher Recruitment and Education Council. Click here to read more about the council, including its goals and a list of all its members.
Mission: The mission of the Publisher Recruitment Council is to attract new publishers to performance marketing and help publishers identify new monetization strategies and opportunities.
This council is chaired by: Nikki Yorgiadis, Gen3 Marketing.
Some of the things the council has discussed in the last year:
- Affiliate Ops – Secrets from the Inside (Webinar)
- CLO Meets Affiliate Marketing (Webinar)
- Affiliate tracking requirements and challenges
- Affiliate program performance insights
- Industry certification options
- Google’s new toolbar policy
- Subnetwork tracking and transparency
Some words from our council members:
- Teresa Grammatke, Sr. Director, eAccountable: “In addition to the opportunities to participate in thought leadership (white papers, webinars) it’s an incredible way to discuss key topics in affiliate marketing with a smart, passionate, dedicated group of professionals. It’s also a lot of fun!”
- Nikki Yorgiadis, Director, Publisher Development, Gen3 Marketing: “Been such an honour to be the Publisher Recruitment council chair! This council is filled with such insightful conversations and one of my favourite monthly calls to attend.”
- Vanessa Isaacson. Director of Account Development, AvantLink: “Not only do I get to learn from and discuss timely affiliate topics with the best minds in the industry, I also get to establish friendships with some of the genuinely nicest people as well.”
- Karen Garcia, Founder and CEO, Lab6 Media: “I enjoy participating on the Publisher Recruitment Council because it allows me to support and advocate for affiliates while helping brands, networks, and managers understand the value of strong partnerships. My favorite part is seeing our efforts empower affiliates and drive growth across the performance marketing industry.”
My personal favorite thing about this council: Everyone is always willing to jump in to share insights and help others–even (and especially!) their “competitors.” They talk genuinely and openly about industry issues in the hope of making the industry better for everyone, not just themselves.
